Would you like to provide a better care to your spanish speaking patients? Well, you are in luck, I’m here to help.
I have a background on being an instructor. I used to teach Cardiology to 4th year medical students back in medical school. I believe I can use that experience in helping you achieve a better rapport with your patients by teaching you how to approach the spanish speaking patient.
I can help you develop better communication skills with the spanish speaking patients in the following areas:
- Clinical interview
- Physical examination
- Review of systems
- Patient education
- Infant health
- Assessment and plans
As a guide, we’ll use the First Aid for the USMLE Step 2 CS. I think it is a great book regarding the approaching to the patient and we can use it to help you learn some spanish in many different medical situations. The best of all is that I’m a physician too, so I know what I’m talking about regarding speaking to spanish speaking patients.
